Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or book us, what we use it for and what rights you have, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
- Controller: Diego Pagano, self-employed, trading as Picart
- Email: [email protected]
- Other legal details: see our legal notice
What data we collect
When you write to us through the form, by email or by WhatsApp we receive the data you give us:
- Your names and email address, and your phone number if you write by WhatsApp
- Your country, the wedding date, the venue, the number of guests and the service you are interested in
- How you found us and your message
- If you book us: the details needed for the quote, the contract and the invoice
What we use it for and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote: the steps you ask for before a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent when you send the form.
- To provide the service you book, plan the day and deliver your photos and film: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b).
- To issue invoices and keep accounting records: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
- To measure visits with Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: your consent (art. 6.1.a). See the cookie policy.
- To measure our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads and show them to people who visited the website, with the Meta pixel, only if you accept advertising cookies: your consent (art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a booking are deleted after 12 months. If you book us, we keep your data while the contract lasts and then for the periods required by tax and commercial law (generally 6 years for invoices).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We handle our own invoicing, so no accountant or agency receives it. Some providers process it on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- The service that sends us the form: Google (Apps Script and Google Sheets), which receives it and stores it in a spreadsheet
- Google (Gmail), where we receive and answer your emails and enquiries
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- The service we use to deliver your photos and film (download link): an online gallery or file-transfer service, used only to send you your files
- Anthropic (Claude), an AI assistant that helps us read enquiries and draft replies and quotes, under a business contract: it does not use your data to train its models
- Google, for Analytics and Maps, only if you accept those cookies
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to write to us there
Meta pixel: joint controllers
If you accept advertising cookies, the Meta pixel sends Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. information about your visit (pages viewed and your browser identifier). For that collection and transfer, we and Meta are joint controllers; Meta is solely responsible for what it does with the data afterwards. You can exercise your rights before either of us. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number from the form.
International transfers
Some of these providers (Google, Meta and Anthropic, for example) may process data outside the European Economic Area. They do so under the safeguards of the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Photos from your wedding
Photos and films of your wedding are only published on this website or on our social media with your permission, and we will remove any image you ask us to.
