Diego & Tamara, Wedding Photographers & Filmmakers on the Costa del Sol
We are Diego and Tamara, a husband-and-wife team, and Picart is our studio. We met at work in 2012 and we’ve been married for ten years. So when we say we photograph love stories, we mean it quite literally.
We don’t stage your day. We observe it, and we tell it as it was.
Where we come from
We were born and trained in Buenos Aires. Tamara holds a degree in Film Direction from the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. Diego trained at the Escuela Argentina de Fotografía (EAF) and started out as a press photographer, learning to read a moment before it happens.
About ten years ago we opened our first studio together in Buenos Aires, P&R Studio (P&R for Pagano & Rajmilevich), and shot portraits, fashion campaigns and social events. In 2018 we packed up and moved to Spain, first to Madrid, and in 2020 we found our home on the Costa del Sol, where we now live with our two daughters. P&R came with us: as P&R Photography we also photograph architecture, food, products and businesses on the coast.
Before Picart, our studio was called Diego Pagano Photography. Picart is its new name, not a new team: the same two of us, working the same way. That’s why our email is still [email protected].
Why two of us
A wedding happens only once, and it happens in two places at the same time: where the couple is, and where everyone else is. Working as a pair means we never have to choose.
Diego leads the photography: he has photographed hundreds of weddings, and together we have been photographing weddings for more than 12 years. Tamara leads our films and is usually the one filming your day, with a director’s eye: the small gestures, the glance across the table, the moment someone laughs before they cry. Our training in film, journalism and fine art shapes everything we do.

Most of our couples come from abroad, many from the UK and Ireland, and plan everything from a distance. We both speak fluent English, as well as Spanish, and we’re happy to help with the bits that feel complicated from home: timings, locations and golden hour.
We know what it means to start a new life far from home. Maybe that’s why we feel so close to couples who choose Spain for theirs.
