The beach club
Trocadero is a beach club and restaurant on the seafront in Sotogrande (San Roque, Cádiz), a few kilometres from Gibraltar.
It has a Mediterranean restaurant, a cocktail bar and a pool. There are no rooms, so guests stay in Sotogrande or nearby.
Our favourite spots and the best light
Lauren and Arnaud’s ceremony was on the lawn at the very edge of the club, under an arch of flowers, with nothing behind them but the sea.
Dinner was under a stretch tent on the lawn, with the tables looking out to sea. After dark the pool lit up blue, with fairy lights around the palm trees.
We took their couple portraits by the sea, a few steps from the tables. The beach itself we kept for the evening before, for their pre-wedding session on the sand.
