The restaurant

Tikitano is a restaurant on the front line of Guadalmansa beach, between Estepona and San Pedro de Alcántara. It is surrounded by gardens and an old watchtower, with views towards Gibraltar and the coast of North Africa.

For weddings it seats 250 guests, or 300 for a cocktail reception, and has private parking. It is a restaurant, not a hotel, so guests stay in hotels nearby.

What we photographed here

We photographed Joaquín and Isabel's wedding here. The ceremony was on the lawn at the bottom of the garden, under a wooden arch of lilac and white flowers, with only the sea behind it.

The path down winds between palms and big agaves, with the thatched roof of the restaurant behind. At dusk the drinks moved under that roof.

Estepona is our home town, so there is no travel charge for a wedding at Tikitano.
